Campus climate report 2024

The campus climate report highlights the experiences of Muslim students at public and private colleges across California during the 2023–2024 academic year. It aims to raise awareness among campus administrators, law enforcement, policymakers, and community members about the challenges students face due to their actual or perceived Muslim identity. Half (53%) of the students reported that their school made statements regarding Palestine and/or Israel that made them feel singled out on campus.

Over a Third

37% of students felt targeted by professors or other instructors because of their religious identity.
